About Us

Talladega Pattern and Aluminum Works, Inc. is an aluminum and brass casting facility located in Talladega, Alabama. We started in 1954 as a machine and pattern shop. We now specialize exclusively in the manufacturing of quality castings. Put our years of experience to work for you!

Our History

Talladega Pattern and Aluminum is deeply rooted in history, a company founded part-time by W.C. “Pete” Peters in 1951 as a small pattern shop.

The business grew into a full time pattern shop in 1956 and over time has evolved into a thriving foundry operation owned by Peters’ sons, Rickey Peters and Joey Peters.

In addition to pouring aluminum, Talladega Pattern began pouring brass in the late 1970s.

A family business from the beginning, a third generation, Jason and Matt Peters, now continues to help the operation move forward with an eye toward the future and cutting-edge technology.

Today, its work can be found across the country, and the small, part-time pattern shop has grown into a 60,000 square foot facility with 45 people on its employment roster.
